  4. I see that I can search for paintings by size (small, medium, large). What defines these sizes?
  5. Can I view larger versions of your paintings?
  6. How long does it typically take to ship an order?

1.  How do I find and purchase your paintings?
There are several ways to find just the right painting for your home or office. In addition to clicking any of our 6 listed categories on our Home page, you may also click the "browse art" icon at the top of every page to view all of our paintings (12 per page, sorted by title), as well as use our "Quick search" function to quickly find a painting by category and/or size. Once you've browsed and found a piece you'd like to buy, simply click the "Buy" button under that painting's description and you'll go to an overview of your current order. At the same time, at the top right of your screen in the box entitled "Your current order status", the number 1 will appear after "Items in cart", as well as its price below, confirming the piece is ready for you to purchase it! From there you may either checkout or continue shopping. When you're ready to checkout, we've provided you with an incredibly friendly, 3-step ordering process:

  1. Enter your name, address and credit card info.
  2. Confirm your info is correct and the painting(s) in your cart are correct.
  3. Print your receipt and we'll take care of the rest!

2.  Why does the "Buy" button gray-out when I click it?
Once you find a painting you like and click the "Buy" button, you'll notice the button grays-out. This not only serves as a confirmation to you that it's been added to your cart, but also ensures that nobody else can purchase it but you. In fact, clicking this button hides the painting from everyone else's view except yours! This further prevents unnecessary confusion, and keeping it available to everyone's view while still in your cart would only cause potential problems.

3.  I added a painting to my cart and came back later, but my cart was empty and the painting I wanted was gone from your collection. What happened?
We only sell one of each of what you see in our 6 collections. We understand that often times buyers change their minds, so to ensure that an item doesn't stay in someone's cart indefinitely (and thus, "hidden" from others' views as mentioned above), we added a feature behind-the-scenes that deletes items from your cart after 1 hour, regardless of whether or not you leave the site. We apologize if this may have caused any confusion. Because of the many automated features in our site, this is the best way to make sure that someone who adds an item to their cart, leaves, and never comes back to finalize the purchase doesn't jeopardize someone else's chance of ordering our beautiful artwork.

4.  I see that I can search for paintings by size (small, medium, large). What defines these sizes?
"Small" is defined as paintings that are under 12" (width or height). "Medium" is defined as paintings that are 12" and over but under 20" (width or height), and "Large" defines paintings that are 20" and over (width or height). For example, a painting that's 9-1/2" x 11" would be Small, 14" x 11" would be Medium and 8" x 24" would be Large. As a side note, all paintings are sized width" x height".

5.  Can I view larger versions of your paintings?
Absolutely! Simply click the "View" button under any painting and you'll go to a page with a larger view of that particular piece. You may also view an even larger version of that painting by clicking the "Zoom" button.

6.  How long does it typically take to ship an order?
Once your order is finalized, we'll send you an e-mail confirmation with the tracking number. All orders are usually processed and shipped within 5 business days and are sent via UPS Ground. Although the typical delivery time is 7-10 business days, this may vary from destination to destination, especially if it's outside of the U.S.

7.  I bought an item and need to return it. What do I do?
We think you will really enjoy the original, collectible art you ordered. But after you receive a painting and find it's not quite right for you, you may return it within 12 days from the date you received it. Be sure not to throw away the packaging.

Please use these guidelines to return your order:

  • If you are returning an order for whatever reason, you must inform Original Studio Art Customer Service by e-mail (sales@originalstudioart.com) or fax (216-791-4732) within 5 days of receiving the art.
  • If the art is in good condition and in its original package (including the packing slip), the cost of your order will be completely refunded to you, minus the original shipping fees. You are responsible for the return shipping.
  • Refunds cannot be processed for art returned in poor condition.
  • In case of an error in the shipping order, simply notify Customer Service within 5 days (as cited above) of receiving the package. We will advise how to return the wrong art, and the art you selected will be shipped to you immediately.
  • If your art arrives damaged, please contact Customer Service within 5 days (as cited above) and provide pertinent information with your order so we can provide a full refund. Include your full name and address, order number, e-mail address, the description of the damaged art and the condition of the packing on arrival. No refund will be given if damage notification is made more than 5 days after the receipt of your order.
